Wiring a Camper Shell 3rd Brake Lamp Using Pacer Performance PP20-702 Brake Light Logic Module

Question:

For my 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500, I bought a Pacer Pro Logic Module and it comes on with the brake lights but also blinks with the turn signals. I know its not supposed to do that with the logic module. I have incandescent lights for the stop lights. I am reading 9 volts from the logic module and have an LED high mounted stop light on my camper shell. Please let me know if there is a different way to wire this or could I be doing something else wrong? Thanks

According to Pacer Performance, You'll need to confirm one yellow is going to the right signal and the other yellow is going to the left signal.

You would also need to check and see if there is any reference voltage left on those lines when not in use as that could be giving the module a false reading.

If there is any voltage on the lines, then you would need to install a ¼ watt diode on each yellow line to filter it out.

I'd also be sure to review the installation procedure, I've linked the installation instructions for you, in case you no longer have them handy.
