In order to use the Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier and Lift Assist with Tie-Downs part # TH898 on a 2017 Jeep Wrangler Hard Top you will need a roof rack which has standard crossbars that overhang past the mounting feet at least 4". The Thule WingBar Evo Crossbar System part # TH711520 and part # TH65BJ which mounts to the rain gutters is what I recommend. The Thule WingBar system has one of the quietest crossbars on the market and it will work just fine with the Thule Hullavator.

Each Hullavator #TH898 will take up 28-1/2" of bar space. So you would need to have at least 57 inch bars. So you need to find a bar that will give you at least 57 inches but also have 4-8 inches beyond the feet. Best bet is to get the longest…
