Curt Trailer Hitch Ball Mount Length
Question:
We have a bike rack that slips over the receiver. All ballmounts that I have seen thus far have not had enough length from the pin hole to where the begins. Can you please tell me that length on this particular product?

Expert Reply:
The length from the center of the pin hole to where the ball platform and the shank meet is 8-1/4 inches. There are others which may offer you longer length, but not with the 4 inch rise or the 6 inch drop this ball mount has. The weight of this ball mount is 11 lbs.
Check out the picture I attached that shows the dimensions of the # D-28.
