Trailer Wiring Harness Installation in 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Without Factory Tow Package
Question:
Im going with draw-tite hitch 75699 on my 2020 jeep grand cherokee and want to confirm the right trailer wiring harness is the part 118727? I do not have the factory tow package. Also, is this hard to install, and how is it done? Any particular guidelines?

The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118727 is the right fit for your 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee without the factory tow package, and I can definitely help you with some guidelines on how to install it. You also made a great choice with the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75699 for your Jeep, as it would have been my choice too because of its concealed look (I also added a link to a video install of the hitch on a Jeep for you to take a look at).
I have added a link to the installation instructions as well as an install video of the harness for you, but in general it is not a complicated installation. You will need to first access the taillight wiring harnesses, and plug in the T-connectors there. The most difficult part for most is running the wire lead to the vehicle battery, and I have added a help article for you detailing the best ways to do this which I highly recommend checking out.
The Draw-Tite hitch is great not only because of its concealed look, but also because it has a tab which allows you to easily use Mounting Bracket # 18144 to mount the connector, like you see in the accompanying photo of the same connector and hitch on a Grand Cherokee. I also highly recommend using Dielectric Grease for Electrical Connectors # 11755 to help prevent any type of corrosion in your connector; using it will increase your 4-way's durability and extend its lifespan.
