Thanks for get back to me so quickly. I see there is a similar 40 amp model at the same price. Would this be also be a good choice for a 138ah lithium battery? Do these devices turn off automatically when battery is charged? Are there any lights on the device to show where you are in the charging process?

The Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power RV Converter and Battery Charger # PD9130LV is compatible with Lithium batteries and has an output of 30 amps which would charge the battery quickly. In just a few hours your battery would easily be charged from a mostly depleted state.

The 40 amp version # PD9140LV is for 24 volt batteries which you wouldn't have so it would not be ideal. The 30 amp # PD9130LV is going to a really great job charging the battery. A 30 amp charge is going to give you a solid charge that will be reasonably quick but not so quick that the charge doesn't last. If you charge a battery too fast you don't get as long of a life from the charge and the battery. This has a remote shutdown module which is a fancy way of saying that when the battery is charged it will stop charging the battery.

If you wanted to hardwire the Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power RV Converter and Battery Charger #PD9130LV to the inlet on your RV you could cut off the plug and wire directly if you wanted. I'd recommend having an electrician help you.
