When I Upgrade My Converter For Lithium Batteries, Can I Also Increase Amperage?

Question:

Hello, I know this is a common question. I have a WF-8735p converter I am upgrading to lithium. Im aware they do not have a direct replacement for this. I have no problem modifying the location. What would you recommend. Also would upgrading to a 60amp fry my system? I am new to this so I hope these questions make sense. Thank you for your time. Taylor

You can replace your older WF-8735P converter with the Progressive Dynamics # PD9130LV converter and lithium battery charger.

Yes, you could upgrade to a 60 Amp converter, but you would then have to replace your power center for larger service and replace your shore line power cord which would be very costly and probably require an electricians service.

I think about my trailer where to two high voltage items (toaster + Microwave) (Electric Kettle + Electric Skillet) are on same circuits and think, even if I upgraded to 50 Amp service at a very high cost, I would still blow the 15 Amp breakers for drawing too much on one circuit. It would require changing in-wall circuits.
