Clearance Between Axle and Spring of Timbren Suspension Enhancement System for 2006 Toyota Sequoia
Question:
I have a 2006 Toyota Sequoia. I plan to tow 2-3 times a year and like to help the rear suspension out, but dont want off-road and or on road performance to suffer. What is the clearance after install of the Timbren SES? It seems that it will touch according to the measurement.

Expert Reply:
After installing the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TTORSEQ on your 2006 Toyota Sequoia, there will be approximately 1/2" to 1-1/2" of clearance between the spring and axle. The Timbrens are among the most popular of the rear suspension enhancements available, and I highly recommend going with them. As you can see by the accompanying review one of our customers left after using the Timbrens on their 2006 Toyota Sequoia, the ride will not be changed.
I have added a link to a video review, as well as the instructions of the system for you to check out.
