2019 Toyota 4Runner Towing Capacity

Question:

Can the 2019 4Runner safely and sufficiently pull a trailer with a UVWR of 4,275 lbs., dry hitch weight if 535 lbs., and GVWR of 6,000 lbs. without water and a heavy cargo load? I assume that with the UVWR of 4,275 and mimimal cargo it would be feasible. The 4Runner is rated at 5,000 towing capacity.

From what I found online it looks like your 2019 Toyota 4Runner has a towing capacity of 5,000 lbs like you mentioned. You'd need to keep the weight of the trailer under that and you'd be fine. Towing capacities for vehicles are figured conservatively so as long as you are under them you are totally safe.

For suspension enhancement to help reduce sag when towing the Timbren kit part # TTORSEQ is confirmed as a fit and will work well. It won't give you additional towing capacity beyond what you have but it will allow you to tow your current capacity in a safer way.
