Is LCI Turning Point Compatible With Curt A16 5th Wheel Hitch for Chevy Silverado Prep Package
Question:
I have a 2019 Chevy 2500 with a factory installed puck system. Is the LCI turning point pin box compatible with the Curt 16063? If yes, is there any other parts required for this setup? Will I lose stability when traveling at highway speeds or when experiencing cross winds with a turning point pin box?

Yes it is - the Lippert Turning Point pin box is compatible with the Curt A16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package # C16520-16025 (which is the same as 16063, just a different part number for our website). To use this hitch with a Turning Point I recommend the Wedge for Curt A Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # C16992 for the best fit. It isn't required, but it is a good idea for the best towing experience to prevent movement in the hitch head.
In regards to stability, you will absolutely not lose any when traveling at highway speeds with a rotating pin box like the Turning Point; they will be just as stable as a standard pin box.
