Can I Remove Brass Fittings From Propane Regulator and Plug Hoses Directly Into Regulator?

Question:

Can a MB Sturgis 100573-15 NPT be used in a Cavagna 924N regulator instead of a MB Sturgis 100575-15 and remove the 1/4 male inverted flare from the regulator. Looks like both Hoses have the same inside orfice hole diameter. I read the the QandA that is posted, but did not see anything mentioned about removing the hose adaptor. Looks like I have a camco 59953 adaptor screwed into each side of the Cavagna 924N regulator. My 30lb propane bottles are located on opposited side of a 5th wheel camper.

Yes. You can remove the Camco # CAM59953 from your Cavagna 924N and use a pigtail with a 1/4" MPT like the # 100473-20-MBS. You'll likely need some gas line tape for the threads; you can use # 37207-30025 to safely thread everything together and make sure that there is no leakage.
