Recommended Trailer Tire to Use with 15 x 5 Wheels

I have a set of rims which are 15 inches in diameter and 5 inches wide. I want a sharp set of tires . What size should I get?

For your existing 15" x 5" wheels an ST205/75R15 trailer tire size will work perfectly (an ST225/75R15 like what you were looking at will be a bit too wide).

Within this size I specifically recommend the Taskmaster Provider # TR20515D. It features a maximum load of 2,150 pounds at 65 psi and has an excellent speed rating of 81 mph (we don't carry a trailer tire with a higher limit).

The wheel bolt hole diameters of the #AM20758 is just slightly over 1/2 inch which allows only 1/2 inch wheel studs to fit through. You wouldn't be able to fit a 9/16 inch or larger stud through the hole. The lug nuts to be used with this…

The Aluminum Sendel Series T07 Black Machined Trailer Wheel #AM97XR does not require longer wheel studs and would work with what you have currently. These wheels were designed to fit standard wheel stud lengths like what your trailer has currently.
