Airlift Loadlifter 5000 or Airlift Ride Control for 2019 Ford F-150 and 1,400 lb Pin Weight

Question:

I previously posed a question that Carla already responded to. Great suggestions, but I have a follow up. To recap, I have a 2019 Ford F150 with the 3.5 eco boost engine with the Max Tow package. I plan on purchasing a 5th Wheel RV in the coming months. The loaded 5th Wheel Hitch or Pin Weight will be approx 1350 to 1400 lbs within payload max with all cargo and passengers and the RV total loaded weight will be approx 8,500 to 9,000 lbs. At Carla's suggestion, I plan to purchase the Curt A16 hitch, part number C16120 and the Custom Install kit #C16442-204. I also had planning on purchasing and installing the Airlift Loadlifter 5000, Part # AL57385 or the AL89385. I have also looked at the Airlift Ride Control Helper #AL59570. I was wondering for my application and the amount of pin weight, do you believe I should install the Loadlifter 5000 or will the Ride Control Helper do the same job?

The Airlift Ride Control Air Helper Springs # AL59570 are not compatible with an in bed hitch, so your only option is to install the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 # AL57385, or the Air Lift LoadLifter Ultimate # AL88385.

The custom brackets on the LoadLifter 5000 are specifically designed to not interfere with a custom 5th wheel installation kit, like # RP50087-58 for your 2019 Ford F-150.

Although it may seem like it's a bit of an overkill for your pin weight, the great thing about air springs is that you have full control of the air pressure, so you can adjust it to create the most comfortable ride at all times. As a quick reminder, adding a compressor like the # AL25980 gives you the convenience to adjust your ride at the push of a button without having to get out of your cab.

Also, having the higher rated air bags means they will hold up better in the long run since you're not putting nearly as much stress on them.
