Bike Rack Recommendations for Carrying a Single and Tandem Bikes on a 2008 Toyota Prius

I have a 2008 Prius. Will this rack fit and could I carry a Tandem bicycle and 2 single bikes. Thanks

I checked with Thule and the Thule OutWay 3 Bike Carrier # TH56BV is confirmed to fit your 2008 Toyota Prius. The biggest limiting factor for whether or not you could carry your tandem bike plus your 2 other bikes will be the weight of your bikes and the length of your tandem bike.

The weight limit for this rack is 99 pounds, which I believe you would pretty easily exceed with your tandem bike plus your other two bikes.

What you could do is put your two bikes on the # TH56BV, and then put a roof rack on your Prius and then use a Thule Tandem Roof Mounted Bike Rack # TH558P to carry your tandem bike.
