Thule EasyFold XT Ramp Height Compared to Hitch Receiver Height
Question:
I am trying to determine if I need the extended ramp. So I need the distance from the receiver up to the point the ramp connects to the carrier. That way I can determine if the angle will be too severe or not with the standard 48 inch ramp. Thanks

Great question! The difference in height between the top of the inside of your trailer hitch receiver to where the 48" ramp inserts into the trays of the Thule EasyFold XT # TH903202 is 5-1/4" (see attached).
The ramp itself has a slight arc to it so it isn't exactly a straight line but it's still pretty close. If the 48" gives you too severe of an angle we do carry the Extra-Long 53" Loading Ramp # TH933402 that you mentioned.
