Hello neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at these Gorilla ratchet straps with S hooks. These are 1 inch by 12 foot long. They also have a safe working low limit of 500 pounds rating and a maximum load or a brake strength of 1500 pounds. Now folks, these are gonna be great for tying down like cargo in the bed of your truck, ATV, side by side, personal watercraft, those kind of things. And the sturdy ratchet mechanisms here that come with it are gonna give you that nice, easy, tighten down strength and mechanism for that.

Now they do have very nice ergonomic release tabs as well. So zooming in here, you can see there. And again, simple operation, loosen it up. Now another cool feature is it does have, this is included, a hook and loop strap here, and that pivots 360 degrees and you can roll your straps up when you're done and use that to hold everything in place. So that's a nice little feature.

All the steel here on the sides is all black powder coated steel, so you don't have to worry about rust, corrosion, that kind of stuff as well. And zooming in here, let me show you that strap. So that strap is a thick polyester webbing. It's got PVC coated edges. It's very durable and abrasion resistant.

Now the hooks themselves are a nice hardened steel ally core and they're not gonna bend, brake, stretch, flex on you or anything like that. They're very, very, very hard. They also have these nice included plastic security caps. Those help you when you hook something on one side of the trailer, you can then put that security cap on there, run to the other side of the trailer with your strap, and now this guy's not falling off whenever there's no tension on it. So that's a really nice feature that I like personally.

Now the S hooks themselves also have a nice vinyl coating on the exterior of them. So that's gonna help prevent scratches on your cargo itself and also give it that chance to hold a little better and everything. The shell's a nice hard plastic, water resistant case. It's gonna give you nice, convenient storage, but also you can throw everything in here. This thing can take a lot of abuse. Throw it in there, put it in the back cargo area of your vehicle or in the truck toolbox or wherever you store your straps.
