Availability of Lift Assist for Fold-Out Ramps on Gooseneck Trailer with Beaver Tail

Question:

Hi: My 28 foot gooseneck trailer has a 5 foot beaver tail with fold out ramps whole way across - 2 parts. They are heavy and wonder if you have something to help lift these up and down.

If your fold-out ramps connect to your beaver tail via a 1-1/2" diameter shaft then we have the 2K Ramp Springs # RS16933LH (left hand) and # RS16933RH (right hand) which you can install to help you raise and lower the ramps. Aside from this we wouldn't have anything to help with ramps specifically.

I just bought a 2011 open range rolling thunder 396rgr toyhauler. The ramp is so heavy I have trouble lifting it up. I am 5 10 220 lbs so I think plenty strong..or fat. Lol. Is there any product, springs or lift assist available to help lighten my load ?

A ramp spring like the 2K # RS16933LH can really help out with heavy ramps like this, but it will depend on the shaft diameter. This will work with 1-1/2" diameter shafts - do you happen to know what size the toy hauler is equipped with.
