The JR Products Locking T-Handle # 37210885 that you referenced features a 5/16" square shaft. The mounting holes on the bracket are spaced apart by 1-1/2", on center.

The width and height of the square shaft of the latch part #37210985 is right at 1/4 of an inch and the distance between the mounting holes is 1-5/8 inches apart.
