If your 2017 Thor Class A Motorhome is built on the Ford F-53 chassis the brake controller port will be located near the emergency brake pedal, to the left hand side of the steering column. I have attached an image that may be helpful.
The Plug-In Adapter Harness # 3035-P that you were looking at is the correct adapter to use for a plug-and-play install with this factory port. It will work perfectly to install a brake controller like the excellent Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195, which features storable settings and the best display on the market that lets you easily adjust settings or read diagnostic messages.
I have attached a short video demonstration that you can check out as well.
