Troubleshooting the Fuse Blowing on the Demco Stay-IN-Play Duo Braking System

Question:

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated! I have given up on using this system! I have a Stay In Play Duo Braking Also contains Brake Light Relay and SMI Duo Supplement Braking part # SM99251 It works in town but as soon as I go down long steep hills the 15amp fuse blows. I have tried to adjust the setting dozens of times with no luck. Question what if I remount the unit and change the angle do you think that will help? I have a 2010 Southwind with a Workhorse chassis and pull a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon JK Unlimited ALSO just read your post about changing the fuse to a bigger one

I contacted the manufacturer with what has been going on when using your Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251. They were able to provide some insight. First, you need to be using a 20 amp fuse. They said that the Stay-IN-Play DUO will blow a 15 amp fuse. They also mentioned needing to make sure the G-Force controller is properly adjusted as per step 12 in the instruction manual.

I have included a link to the instructions and a picture of step 12 for you.
