Red light stays on when truck with no trailer plugged up.

No need to be concerned about the solid single red light for the Curt Venture # C74VV. The LED light draws such a tiny amount of amperage and would take a very long time to deplete a car battery to the point it wouldn't start the vehicle. The light will turn green when using the brake pedal or manual override as well.
