Best and Lightest Slider Hitch for 2019 Chevy Silverado 2500 with OEM Rail Kit
Question:
What is the weight ofCurt Q20? Total weight? Rail weight? head weight? I have a 2019 Silverado 2500 wit factory 5th wheel prep package. I want the lightest weight 5th wheel hitch with slide available. I prefer 5000/20000 capacity.

The total weight of the Curt Q20 for GM Tow Package rail kits is 316 lbs. The only part of this hitch that's easily separable is the rail kit adapter that comes with the kit part # C16023 which weighs 79 lbs. So since you want a lighter slider kit your best option by far is the B and W Companion Slider for GM Rail Kit part # BWRVK3770 which has a 20k capacity. This weighs a total of 255 lbs and has a head that was designed for quick and easy removal to distribute some of the weight better. The head by itself weighs 70 lbs.
Many consider the B and W Companion hitches the best hitch you can get, so while this covers everything you mentioned it will also give you the best ride quality, ease of use, and will last you a long time as well. Also it's made in the USA! I attached a review video for more info as well.
