How Much Of a Difference in Ride Quality Is There Between the Convert-A-Ball and Ranch Hitch Adapter
Question:
I currently have a Ranch hand 8” off set gooseneck system on my 8000 lb fifth wheel. Pulling with 2005 F250 7’ bed crew an. It’s a rough pull, just wanted to know how well the cushioning system works compared to my current setup?

The Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter part # CAB-C5GX1216 will work much better than the Ranch Hitch Universal 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Coupler Adapter part # AM3139 in regards to ride quality. The reason you have such a rough ride now is that there is really nothing to stop the road shock from the trailer transferring to the vehicle.
The above cushioned adapter will greatly reduce the amount of shock you feel and it will also work to decrease wear and tear on both the vehicle and trailer. I have attached a customer review for you that attests to the ride quality improvement.
