5,000 lb Bulldog A-Frame Jack With Short Retracted Height

Question:

Im looking for an A Frame jack that retracts as far as possible as I have had too much trouble with A frame jack legs dragging even when fully retracted. Im looking to add a leg/pedestal so amount of jack travel is less important. I would prefer to stick to a bulldog but other is possible. It does need to be 5000 pounds. I have a 5000 lb Bulldog side-mount topwind jack like this product. Although I dont see it in the explanation on this jack, I do see this on others: Long bearing and gear life with oil-impregnated bushing. I dropped my jack and a fair amount of oil leaked out of it. Im assuming its due to the bushing mentioned above coming loose. Do you have a bushing I can reinstall along with the oil to repair my jack? It still functions fine but assume the oil would provide added benefit down the road.

I checked and although there is not a bushing for the Bulldog Swivel Jack - Topwind # BD178101, we do have a 5,000 lb Bulldog A-frame jack with a short retracted height that is going to be exactly what you need.

The Round A-Frame Trailer Jack - Sidewind - 15-5/8" Travel - 5,000 lbs # TJA-5000S-B has a 23-3/8" retracted height and a 15" lift. You can also add a removable foot plate # JF-99 or a drop leg # JF-1005H-Z. This short retracted height should definitely resolve the issue you are having of the jack dragging, and the option of a shorter or longer foot plate gives you flexibility if you need more travel.

I have added links to video reviews of these items for you to take a look at as well.
