Question:

Hi, I have an old apache pop up trailer 1972? trailer is rated at 1500 lbs and has small tires with the left being a reverse tread and hydraulic brake system. Id like to upgrade to a 200-3500 axle with electric brakes brakes not mandatory Question is how do I go about measuring for a new axle. Also the springs are sleeper springs- Im hoping I dont have to do any welding- any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

You would need to measure from the hub face to hub face and then from the spring mount centers to pick out the correct axle to fit your trailer. I attached a picture that shows where these measurements are.

I attached a link to all of the axles we offer as well.

If you were planning on taking advantage of the higher axle weight capacity then yes you would. I attached a page that has all of the 3,500 lb leaf springs we offer as well.
