Parts Needed to Flat Tow a 2007 Hummer H3 with Blue Ox Tow Bar and Demco Base Plate Kit

Hi, I am interested in setting up my 2007 Hummer H3 to be towed by my motorhome 4-wheels down. I currently have an old Blue Ox BX7445 Aventa LX tow bar. I found the Demco Classic Base Plate Kit - Fixed Arms Item # DM9518193. Is there an adapter that will allow this base plate to work with my Blue Ox tow bar? Also, I would like to purchase a permanently installed supplementary brake system for the Hummer H3 as well for when it it towed. Which one do you recommend? I am interested in any other considerations you can provide/suggest for towing this vehicle. Thanks,

To use your Blue Ox Aventa LX BX7445 with the Demco Classic Base Plate Kit # DM9518193 you need the Adapter Kit # DM9523034. If you misplaced or need to replace the safety cables that came with your tow bar then you can use part # BX88197.
For a supplemental braking system that remains installed on your 2007 Hummer H3 I recommend the Air Force One # SM99243 for motorhome air brakes or the Stay-IN-Play DUO # SM99251 for motorhome hydraulic brakes. These are the best braking systems on the market because of how reliable they are, how easy they are to setup after the installation, and that they remain out of the way when you aren't towing your Hummer.
In keeping with the ease-of-use product category I recommend the Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 because after it is installed you just have to connect the umbilical from your tow vehicle to your Hummer and you are good to go.
A lot of flat towing setups might require the use of a high-low adapter to keep the tow bar level while towing a vehicle. I have linked a helpful article for you to reference to see if this applies to you. If it does then I have also linked our selection of adapters for you to filter through.
