I used a search engine to look up the owner's manual of your 2019 Subaru Outback and it stated on page 8-12 to use a traction device on the front wheels only, so you do not need chains for all four wheels. It also states you need to use a Class S traction device to ensure clearance and that you can't use normal steel chains, but you can use self-tensioning chains (these will be tight around your tire which means they will give you the clearance needed not to hit your Outback's wheel well).

The correct self-tensioning tire chains for your 2019 Outback will depend on your tire size. For 225/65-17X size tires you need the Pewag Servo RS Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains # PWRS79.

If you have 225/60-18 size tires you need the Konig Self-Tensioning, Low-Profile Snow Tire Chains # TH2004205105. I've added a link to a video review of these chains for you to check out.

Both options will be great for you to maintain your grip on the road with your Outback so you can be as safe as possible when traveling.
