Should Tire Chains Be Installed on Front and Back Tires of a 2019 Subaru Outback Wagon
Question:
How many pairs do you recommend for the Subaru Outback 2019? In the owners manual it says that snow chains should only be installed in the front tires and other sources indicate the AWD vehicles should have chains in all 4 tires. What do you recommend?

Expert Reply:
We always recommend to stick with what the owner's manual says for your car so if the manual for your 2019 Subaru Outback Wagon says to only install tire chains on the front tires then we also recommend only installing the Konig Tire Chains # TH2004205105 on your front 225/60-18 tires.
Attached is an installation video of these chains on a 2018 Subaru Outback Wagon for you to check out.
