Best Bike Rack for Winnebago Navion Motorhome

Question:

Bike rack for motor-home Winnebago Navion. A fellow owner of the above has a Kuat Nv 2.0. He says it works fine however one of your representatives said the Kuat is not recommended for RVs, mine is a 25, they suggested a Swagman however a fellow owner lost her bikes on a freeway on ramp. I have also read bad reviews of the carrier. Any suggestions?

We have a couple of great options I'll go over for you, but in regards to the Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack # BA22B, this is a fantastic rack, but it is not rated for use behind any RV or motorhome. What that means is even though it may work fine, if anything should happen then it will not be covered by its lifetime warranty, and that's a gamble that a lot of people aren't willing to take considering its price.

I recommend the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 2 Bike Platform Rack # HLY84FR.

The Sport Rider SE is designed to ensure your bikes remain exactly where they are - on the rack - because it uses ratcheting padded clamps which secure your bikes by the frame. It also uses an integrated anti-rattle hitch pin which means your bikes will be totally stable and not bouncing and vibrating, helping ensure they stay put.

Aside from the way the Sport Rider SE secures your bikes, it's biggest benefit is that it can carry bikes up to 80 pounds. It also helps protect the investments you made in your bikes and the rack with integrated locks in the clamps that secure your bikes and a lock for the anti-rattle hitch pin that secures the rack to your Winnebago's hitch.

There are options which are more economical and that will work on your motorhome like the # HR1450Z or Thule DoubleTrack Pro XT # TH92BJ but the bike rack with the best combination of quality and capacity is the Sport Rider SE # HLY84FR.

I have added links to video reviews of these racks for you to check out as well.
