Replacement Female Quick Connect Valve For Spray-Away Unit

Question:

our quick connect valve sat without use for a couple years and was stuck and now leaking. I would like to replace the female part of the quick connect coupler. Can you tell me if it simply will unscrew from the pipe with a wrench? we have a 2016 Forest River Sunseeker 24W.

The Replacement Spray-Away Quick Connect Valve - Female part # PF247008 is the replacement quick connect valve for the D&W Inc Self-Storing Spray-Away Unit part # PF147008. If the valve is leaking you most likely have some debris or dirt stuck in the check valve mechanism. You can work it lose by moving the sprayer from the end of the coil hose then connect and disconnect the hose a few times. That should flush the line. If it does not stop the leaking you can replace the quick connect valve by removing the old one with a wrench. I have attached the maintenance and installation instructions for the spray away for your reference.
