Trailer Running Lights Stay On with Vehicle Off Using Curt T-Connector On a 2013 Toyota Sienna
Question:
My Curt connector worked perfectly until it didnt. Now the trailer running lights are on when the vehicle is off/lights off/neither turn signals nor hazards work. Does this mean the brain failed or something? This Curt connector worked perfectly for about 6 months now it does not. Warranty?

It sounds like you are referring to the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness part # C56106 on your 2013 Toyota Sienna. If that is the case then what you need to do is test the brown wire before it reaches the converter box. If this was power without the running lights on then you have an issue with the vehicle wiring. However, if this wire does not have power unless the running lights are on then test the brown wire after it leaves the converter box. If it has power without the running lights on then the converter box is bad and the harness needs replaced. The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness does have a one year warranty if you have proof of purchase.
