Does Trim of 2019 Honda Passport Get Modified to Install Curt Trailer Hitch
Question:
Just to make sure. My level is EX-L. I have attached a photo of the trim cover which I believe is different than on the higher level Passport models. The higher level Passports and the Honda OEM trailer hitch have a different trim cover which is elevated to accommodate the OEM trailer hitch. Is the Curt hitch manufactured to drop down more than the OEM hitch and thereby clear the EX-L hitch cover in the attached photo?

I checked with Curt and the trailer hitch part # C13421 that you referenced does fit your 2019 Honda Passport and does not require any rear trim panel modifications. Basically the hitch just gets raised into position and from there you just bolt it into place!
