How to Fix Motorhomes Hyperflashing after Installing LED Taillights
Question:
The replacement lights were on Gulf stream motor home. It is BT Cruiser with an E450 Ford, 2004 model. The new replacement tail light LED work fine but the flasher flashes real fast. Can you suggest something??? Thanks

Your motorhome must have a bulb out sensor. Becasue LED's draw so much less power than incandescents, the bulb-out sensor thinks the bulb is out and causes the circuit to hyperflash. You'll need to install a load resistor like # ALEDRST2B on each lamp. The resistor would plug inline between your existing PL3 plug and the lamp for a plug and play installation. This assumes you're using the # STL23RB lamp you referenced. If you're using a different lamp, you'd use the # DI34ZR and wire it to the turn signal circuit as described in the linked instructions.
