Can Blue Ox Immobilizer II Anti-Rattle be Used for Weight Distribution
Question:
I am towing a 5000# TT with 800# tongue weight. There is a small amount of play between my Reese shank and hitch receiver Ford F150 using Reese Dual Cam Weight Distribution. Is the Blue Ox Immobilizer BX88224 appropriate with these weights to snug things up? Thanks.

The Blue Ox Hitch Receiver Immobilizer II # BX88224 is completely appropriate for your weight distribution application on your Ford F-150.
Please note that you do need to shoot for a trailer tongue weight that is 10-15% of the weight of your trailer even when you are using a weight distribution system. Since your trailer weighs in at 5,000 lbs your tongue weight should be somewhere in the 500 lb - 750 lb range. A great option to ensure that you get your tongue weight just right every time is to use a scale like part # e99044 which easily stores in your truck or trailer.
