Do yo measure he length of the arm that mounts to the wall of the camper or the arm itself?

The instructions on what to measure are a bit confusing: "measure the length of the wall-mount extrusion from top to bottom." What that means is you will measure the length of the part that mounts to the wall of the camper as opposed to the arm itself.
The short style measures 61-1/2" and uses # LC351829 (a pair), while the flat style will measure 69" and use # LC281154.
