I was unable to find a guide for your specific vehicle, however I have included a link to a video for a 2008 GMC Sierra that shows the brake control wires under the dash below the steering column and down by the brake pedal. The wires will be bundled up and there may be a white tab around them. Let me know if this is not helpful and we will do further research to try to help you find these wires.
The video shows the technician pulling the wires from the brake pedal area at the 1 minute and 20 seconds mark. I have also included a link for an article of brake controller installation that includes a picture of the location of the brake controller wires location on the 2010 GMC full size trucks.
