How Much Power Does the Camera for the Truck Bed Cargo Camera for Factory Monitor 3460006 Draw
Question:
I am going to install a GCH Truck Bed Camera # 3460006 in my 2016 Ford F350, 8 foot bed, Super Duty Pick. I intend on using one of the upfitter switches for my power source. Can you tell me what the Amp draw is for this camera. I have two 25, one 15 and one 10 amp power sources.

The Truck Bed Cargo Camera for 8" Factory Monitor part # 3460006 which is a fit for your 2016 Ford F-350 will only draw around 0.3 amps. I spoke with GCH and they recommend that you use a 3 amp fuse for the switch. If you cannot replace one of the fuses on your existing power source then it would be best to run this directly to the battery. It will not draw power when the vehicle is off.
