Attaching the Yakima Bike Rack Cradle Strap to a Cradle
Question:
2002 Nissan Pathfinder, Yakima bike rack hitch-4 bikes. I need instructions on how to attach to bike rack and bike. Please help.

To attach the strap, # 8890221, to a cradle on a Yakima bike rack, start with the round end of the strap. The cradle will have mounting mounts for the strap located on the forward and rearward parts of the cradle. Start the hole at the end around one of the mounting points on the cradle and then pull, very hard, to stretch out the hole and pull the strap onto the mounting point on the cradle.
Then, place the bike on the cradles like in the video I have linked. Pull the strap over the frame tube and pull it down tight. Attach this end of the strap to the other mounting point on the cradle just like in the first step. Once all the bikes are secured you are done.
To remove the bike you only have to remove each strap from one mounting location on the cradle.
