What Typically Causes Bouncy Ride Quality with Trailer that has Weight Distribution Installed

Question:

I currently have a Reese WD setup on a 2019 F150. Pulling a 26 foot travel trailer I don’t have sag but I do get a bouncy ride and some sway. Will the SSA28 help eliminate the bounce or should I look at the Roadmaster Active Suspension setup?

Any form of suspension enhancement will not reduce the bounce you are experiencing. Typically when a weight distribution system causes a bouncy ride quality it's because it is rated too high for the tongue weight of the trailer. Or you have too much spring bar tension in the setup, but most likely it's a rating issue.

If you can let me know the tongue weight of your trailer and which Reese weight distribution system you have I can verify if that's the issue and we can go from there.
