E-Bike Rack Recommendation with Ramp for Easy Loading/Unloading
Question:
I have a 60 lb ebike I LOVE, I am 64 years old and cannot lift that bike. I have a Yakama bike rack, but I need a ramp to roll bike on to get on rack. Would the Kuat ramp work on the Yakama rack? Or, is there another generic one that might be modified and work so I can load my bikes more easily?

Since Yakima doesn't offer a ramp solution for their platform racks at this time, and all of the other ramp solutions can only be used on the bike rack they were intended for the best solution we have is to go with a bike rack designed for e-bikes like yours that does include a ramp like you need.
For that the best option is the Thule EasyFold XT part # TH903202 which has the weight capacity needed for the heavier bike, has a ramp built into it that stores in the rack (the other ramp options require storing the ramp in the vehicle), and overall is just really easy to use from loading/unloading to installing and removing.
