Proper Orientation of Trailer Electric Brake Assemblies

when you talk about the magnet arm pointing toward the front are you talking about the arm ends or the circle part

On a trailer electric brake assembly like the Dexter 6,000 Pound # 23-105 you were looking at the magnet itself should be at the bottom. The arm that is attached to the magnet should then be located on the front side of the trailer (towards the direction of travel).
