What is the Torque Requirement for 1/2 Inch U-Bolts for Trailer Suspension

Question:

I purchased the ubolts and plates from you guys and they just arrived today. Im excited to put these on so i can finally flip my axle. What is the torque settings for theses ubolts with the plates? I look at sites with torque spec and they require the bolts grade as well. This would be a great help, this is my first time doing this!

According to our FAQ on slipper springs, linked for referenced, the torque specs are as follows:

Torque Ratings

1/2 inch Bolts: 45 ft/lbs - 70 ft/lbs
9/16 inch Bolts: 65 ft/lbs - 95 ft/lbs
5/8 inch Bolts: 100 ft/lbs - 120 ft/lbs

The Replacement U-Bolt, # 1753223, uses a 1/2 inch nut so it would fall into the 45 to 70 foot pound category.
