2017 Honda CR-V LX Trailer Wiring Recommendation

Question:

Trying to wire a 2017 crv LX for trailer plug. After a long search behind the panel for the quick plug, I called the dealer. They said the 2017 crv accessory plug is only stock on EX and above models. How would I go about wiring my 2017 crv without the accessory plug?

That we are aware of all models of the 2017 Honda CR-V have the factory wiring install harness in the rear cargo area. There SHOULD be a harness at the rear of your vehicle but you'd just have to do a bit more digging to find it. It's pretty common for the harnesses to settle into harder to reach areas from being on the road for a while.

That said you could hardwire in a harness like the part # 119250KIT if there truly isn't a connector on your vehicle. It would be just a matter of testing the taillight wiring of the vehicle and installing the sensors and you'd be set.
