ground for trailer harness on 2016 honda pilot in the compartment where the custom wiring connector is, there is a piece of metal, is all metal a ground source?

When installing the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118760 in your 2016 Honda Pilot you can use the metal in the compartment where the wiring connector is, so long as it is clean, bare metal.
I have added a photo from the linked install video of the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56291 which shows where our installer grounded this harness which you can use as an example.
