Recommended Timbren System for a 2015 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 with 4 Leaf Spring Pack
Question:
I have a 2015 4x4 Tacoma DC OR short bed. I have a 4 leaf pack with AAL. Lift was only about 1-1/4” after AAL. Ride actually improved!. I have tried Sumosprings and hate them as they are always in contact with frame making for a harsh ride when empty. Distance from springs to frame is approx 6” I tow a camper with tongue weight of 200lbs. Looking at future to tow one @ 320lbs. Also adding 200lbs topper. I have had air bags in past and we’re a pain to maintain. I’ve had Timbrens ones ending with L on similar truck 2005 with 4 leaf pack TSB and they were perfect for me. Tongue weight was higher and had crossbox full of tools. Truck loaded stayed level. Can’t decide on which Timbrens to get. What are your thoughts on this?

If you really liked the performance of the Timbren system then I recommend using the part # TTORTUN4 which is the fit for the 4 leaf spring pack on your 2015 Toyota Tacoma. I went out and found that the kit measures about 5-3/8" tall so since you have 6" between your leaf springs and frame this puts you right in the 1/2" to 1-1/2" gap that Timbren recommends.
This Timbren kit is rated for up to 6,000 lbs but please keep in mind that this does not increase the weight rating of your Tacoma, it only helps support up to that much weight.
