Troubleshooting No Trailer Left Turn/Stop or Running Lights with 2012 Chevy Silverado
Question:
I have a 2012 Chevy Silverado I have power to the trailer connector and right blinker but no power for running lights and left blinker. I have checked all the fuses with a test light and all work. Is there a relay that connects the running lights and left blinker? Everything was working a week ago.

I took a look at the online version of the owner's manual for your 2012 Chevy Silverado and it only listed a couple of fuses for the two non-working trailer light functions you mentioned on the truck; the # 3 fuse for Trailer Left Turn/Stop and the # 25 fuse for Trailer Park Lamps inside the engine fuse block. There were not any additional relays listed for these functions.
If these fuses are good then you will want to inspect the 7-Way itself on the truck for any corrosion or debris that might be built up around the pins that needs to be cleaned out. Check to make sure the wires you can see coming from the back of the connector are in good condition without any pinched or exposed portions.
It sounds like this is what you're doing but you will also want to test the 7-Way with a circuit tester while you have a buddy run through the lights on the truck. If you get power at the left turn/stop and running lights pin with those functions activated then the issue is actually on the trailer.
Please let me know what you find and we can continue to troubleshoot if the issues persist.
