Question:
I need a wiring harness wit the truck end plug mounted to the back of my travel trail. I assume I have to splice into my evening wires so I can plug my trailer 7 blade in.

The Pollak 7-Pole, RV-Style Trailer Connector Socket w/ Wiring Harness and Mounting Bracket part # PK11898 is what I recommend that you use on the back of your trailer in order to install a 7-way as it comes with the trailer connector, wiring harness, mounting bracket, and the hardware to connect the mounting bracket. The wire connectors however will need to be swapped out with part # SWC501746-1. You are correct in that you will need to splice into the tail lights on your trailer in order to install the above.
