Hitch Option for 2000 Ford E-450 Ambulance
Question:
I am looking to mount a ramped cargo carrier to a 2000 Ford E450 ambulance box truck. Will this hitch work?

I might have a solution for you, but we don't have custom hitches for ambulances.
I spoke to my contacts at Curt and Reese and the only styles of hitches that can be made to fit a service body (ambulance) truck like yours are multi-fit RV hitches like the # 41990 that has a 16k capacity. This is a weld on hitch that would require either the 7 inch drop brackets part # 4907 or the 16 inch brackets part # 4916. This would be your best option to carry a hitch mounted cargo carrier like the Flint Hill Goods # FHG77ZR.
