Bike Rack for Townie Electra E-Bike
Question:
Hi, I need a hitch mounted rack 2 that will carry two Townie Electra 7d Eq bikes the model with front and rear fenders. What should I purchase? Hoping to keep the cost in lower range, and a rack that would eventually carry 4 bikes would be ideal. My kids are too young to bike right now though, so not an immediate concern. Thank you!

So E-bikes like your Townie Electra are heavier than standard bikes which means you'll need a bike rack reinforced for the extra weight. The best priced bike rack for this application is going to be the Hollywood Racks E-Bike Rack part # HLY84FR which has a capacity of 80 lbs per bike and can be used to carry bikes with fenders like yours as well.
I wish there was an expandable option for this rack or a similar bike rack that also fit your criteria but there is not.
