Will Reese Goose Box # RP85FR Work on Flat Bed with Recessed Gooseneck Ball

I have a work bed on my truck with a resesed ball in the bed will this set up work?

The Reese Goose Box # RP85FR that you referenced should work just fine with the recessed gooseneck ball on your flat bed truck but there are a couple of measurements I recommend taking to verify this. The Goose Box measures 7-1/2 inches at its widest point when taken 4 inches up from the bottom of the coupler (where it actually clamps around the gooseneck ball).
You can use this information to make sure the recessed area is large enough to avoid any interference issues with the Goose Box attached. I have attached an image to assist as well.
