Can the Front Bumper On a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit Be Removed To Install Base Plates
Question:
My question is not if a baseplate can be installed, rather how to get the fascia off to the Summit as I have read that it wasn’t designed to be removed on this model. Thanks in advance for any information you can offer.

Although we have not yet our self installed a base plate kit on a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the Summit trim package, I can confirm that this is possible using the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit part # RM-521440-5. I have even attached an install photo from Roadmaster on a model with the Summit trim package.
I spoke with Roadmaster as well and they were able to confirm that the front bumper on a model with the Summit trim package can be removed. They do not have any specific instructions for the Summit bumper but it will not deviate much from the standard bumper which you can see in not only the attached PDF install instructions but also the install video we have done on a model with a similar trim package.
